Beat Me Once Shame On You Beat Me Twice Shame On Me
How quickly you forget about little quarrels that happen with loved ones over the dinner table, and minor spats over the facial hair left in the sink. It’s easy to forgive and forget when you love someone, because in the end all you want is to see each other happy. So I guess it shouldn’t be too hard to find it in your heart to forgive someone who brutally beat you to a point where you were almost unrecognizable as who you actually are.
The Story Broke on People.com, apparently Mr. Diddy is playing peace maker tonight as they are hanging out in Puffy’s Miami Beach Star Island home. One of their sources said “While Chris is reflective and saddened about what happened, he is really happy to be with the woman he loves.”
Maybe I’m just too cynical, but am I the only one who sees something wrong with this picture?! How the fuck do you still love someone that just physically assaulted you to the point where you are barely responsive. I really don’t know what else to say, I’m actually pretty shocked. But then again I’m sure this is a regular thing…..right? All kinds of women get abused and go back to the man who did it…..I think.
We’ll see how things go from here. From what we understand Chris Brown is still waiting to hear from the District Attorney to see what charges if any there going to be pressed against him.
Tommy Chong Should of Won an Oscar
Look there’s no doubt that Oscar Winner for Best Documentary,”Man on Wire” was a great and inspiring film. But…The Documentary nominees and winner all lacked something that truly needs to be addressed in a manner that every human being and every walk of life can understand and digest: That’s the incredible waste of time, money and power being used to incarcerate people all over the United States and the World for petty drug offenses and trumped up charges. One documentary that was released this past year through Awesome Documentaries is “a/k/a Tommy Chong” a documentary by Josh Gilbert. The film follows the incarceration of celebrity and marijuana icon Tommy Chong for his participation in the sales and distribution of water pipes. The film is an incredible journey through the justice systems attack on Tommy Chong, his business, his history and his family. It doesn’t take a stoner to appreciate the humor and insight that the comedy duo of Cheech & Chong brought to the late 70’s and 80’s when it came to skewering a system set to fail it’s own citizens.
The documentary does a beautiful job of showcasing the tight knit family unit the Chong’s have developed, the very essence of which we built this great nation through the hope of the productive family, and to demonstrate Tommy Chong’s in ability to get a fair chance within a Justice System that should be helping build a community not destroy it.
The Oscar should go to Tommy Chong and Josh Gilbert for not only fighting a dignified battle but for documenting it with the same grace. We need more films, more expose, more discussions that lead to questions like these. a/k/a Tommy Chong is available online, and is routinely showing on INDEMAND.

Top Ten Rentals Are All Garbage
This has to be one of the most insane lists of Top Ten DVD Rentals for quite some time! Seriously, holy horse ****! People are actually renting Lakeview Terrace enough to make it the Number One Rental? People are watching Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist? Ya, if you like acid and evil butterflies. Zack and Miri I actually watched with a friend, then killed him. Vicky Something Barcelona? Was that the one with Friendo Face and that East Coast actress nobody really likes but kinda pretends to? Not sure exactly, could be wrong. So you asked and you got them. Here’s the filth you kids out in Ohio are driving to the Top of the Rental Wagon:

Beat ‘Em Up, Beat ‘Em Down
Since the inception of the sport, Mixed Martial Arts has evolved from a lowbrow beat up em up spectacle that rivaled the savagery of ancient Roman Gladiators, to one of the largest growing sporting events of today’s generation. Mixed Martial Arts has always had a controversial reputation, representing the awe of the knockout instead of prioritizing the safety of the fighters. But because of the popularity of the sport and the reluctance of city officials to sanction fights, the rules have changed. And not by a little. No longer will we see “Bid Daddy” Gary Goodridge provide a free rhinoplasty to Paul Herrara. No longer will we see a half a minute of uninterrupted bashing in of someones face, only to have them end up looking like Freddy Kruger or editor Nick Sinn. The main event at UFC 95 was a war with non stop action between two great competitors and there is no problem with the phrase “non-stop”. There is not enough that can be said about what an exciting night of fights this was yet somehow how controversial it became. The fight card was a diamond in the rough. Not much thought given by those casually watching but a lot of interest from hardcore fans knowing how esteemed a fighter Diego Sanchez is and how important it is to witness his Lightweight debut. However, the main event was hardly the talk of the night due to the viscous knockouts witnessed earlier in the event. Josh Koscheck added another tally in the loss column and now he’s crying foul…and he may be right. Although it seemed that Koscheck was severely rattled by a powerful uppercut to the face, when he hit the canvas, it appeared as if he readied himself for the guard. The referee has the power to stop a fight if it appears the downed opponent is in no condition to intelligently defend himself but, it is a judgment call only the ref can make. A video of an enraged Koscheck backstage can be seen on brightcove.com and if things continue the way they are handled today, we will be seeing plenty more angry reaction videos from fighters. Don’t let the fools kill each other, but don’t make them wear skirts either.

An Unexpected Target for an Expected Breakdown
So I read the story on TMZ earlier today about Edward Graziano, father of John Graziano (John was left left in a vegetative state after Nick Hogan’s 2007 car crash), and the first thing that ran through my mind as I read the headline was, “Oh Shit, this dude was trying to hire a hit on the Hogans“, that would be what I think is the logical conclusion.
Instead Graziano was arrested for attempting to solicit a hit man to kill his estranged wife. Not only that but apparently he tried to pay for it partially using a gift card. Here is what TMZ had to say:
“According to police, Edward Graziano told an undercover officer posing as a “go-between” to a hit man that he wanted to have his wife Debra killed. Perhaps most troubling — cops say Graziano wanted her killed in an automobile accident.”
“Graziano allegedly paid for the hit with $1,100 cash, a $1,000 personal check and a $13.06 gift card to Westshore Pizza.”
I’m having a hard time seeing how things can get any worse for the Graziano family at this point. As far as his estranged wife goes her attorney released this statement:
“She is saddened by all of this. She can’t believe so much tragedy can strike one family. Her main purpose is concentrating on John getting better.”
The International Hits Home
“You control the debt, you control everything.” Think about that statement. With the economy dwindling as fast as editor Nick Sinn’s hairline, people have become seriously interested in the shadowy world of economics that controls our own. The banks of America (not Bank of America) have a nut clenching grip on the national economy in reality but in the world of cinema, The International strikes back at those responsible. An intelligent, fast paced, thriller of a conspiracy movie, The International exaggerates on a true to life problem. Arriving at a time when the banking industry already has a lot of explaining to do, there’s something almost endearing about the sleek Euro-thriller. Clive Owen plays a rogue Interpol agent who, with the help of Naomi Watts as a Manhattan assistant district attorney, pursues justice against a globally powerful bank that finances terror around the world. As a result, Owen tracks the corporation around the world attempting to bring the powers that be to justice. Brian O’Byrne and Armin Mueller-Stahl are dependably good as shady bank players. But the star of the pic may well be the Guggenheim Museum and Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar, both of which embed great action sequences that pay some serious dividends. Without them, this movie would be as dull as Canadian Boxing Day in Mexico. Enjoy the trailer and see The International in theaters starting Feb 13th.

UFC 98 Pits Man Against Monster
It seems as if big bad Brock Lesnar has all but been forgotten in the build up for the various mma events beginning to a line themselves on the horizon. Lesnar, once the major talk of the town, has all but disappeared as he prepares for his all out heavyweight battle against Frank Mir. The bout is set for UFC 98 and will ultimately close the book on who is the real UFC Heavyweight Champion. After all the changing of hands between Tim Sylvia, Andrei Arlovski, Randy Couture, Frank Mir and Brock Lesnar, the belt needs to rest as does the constant sh*t talking about who owns it. The UFC has some of the best heavyweights in the World with Frank Mir being one of them and Lesnar being a quality challenger to any of them. UFC 98 may not be getting the hype it deserves but as the competition nears there is no doubt that the upcoming UFC Heavyweight Championship Fight will be holding everyone’s attention in May. The UFC 98 fight card spells good times!

Will Heath Herring Fight On UFC 100 Card?
Will Heath Herring get to fight on the UFC 100 card this summer in Las Vegas? The questions surrounding “The Texas Crazy Horse” are growing more and more by the day. Why didn’t he win more of his last fights? Is he coming in to the Octagon out of shape? Has his drive to compete at the highest levels of mixed martial arts diminished? Does he enjoy Cheetos and pork rinds? We need to know? Our gambling addiction demands it! According to real insiders Heath Herring will be fighting Cain Velasquez on the UFC 99 fight card. But here’s a few more questions we’d throw out to the community:
Has Heath Herring beat a ranked heavyweight in the last few years?
Does Cheik Kongo count?
Did Joe Silva let him know he will be fighting on the UFC 99 card more then likely?
How did he take it?
Can he beat Cain Velasquez who is his purposed opponent?
Will Cain Velasquez destroy his will to live with vicious punches and slams?
Are people paying to see Heath Herring lose now or are we waiting for him to win?
Stardum would like to say that Heath Herring better be bringing his A-Game whether he fights on the UFC 99 card or the historic UFC 100 card because, “Dudes lost 3 of his last 5 fights and barely edged out a decision win. Knock somebody out Herring! WAR Fish!
